Epic Loon is a side-scrolling action game that takes place in a mysterious world that is full of strange characters and peculiar things. In the game, you control an insect-like creature called a “loon” that has a pair of long tentacles. The purpose of the game is to collect various items that will help you on your journey through the world. PHP Json Serialize to make ajax call
I’m trying to use the json_encode function to serialize data from an array to send to my ajax call. The problem is that the array keeps serializing instead of maintaining the structure and data that I pass in.
I use json_encode and echo that on the page so I can see what I’m getting back, but it always looks like
[{“”id””:””6″”, “”name””:””Name1″”, “”description””:””Desired description””, “”date””:””06/29/2013″”, “”status””:””Not planned””}]
It is calling the serialize() function since I have outputted on the page, but the JSON serialize function is not maintaining the structure and just serializes it as is.
