## Opening a File in Photoshop
Photoshop is very much a video editor. There are no frames, and the entire file is displayed in one window. After you open a file in Photoshop, you can make edits as you would on any other digital editing program.
To open a file in Photoshop, follow these steps:
1. **Click the Open button on the application’s Home tab (refer to** **Figure** **9-1** **).**

2. **Navigate to the folder where you stored the file you want to open.**
You can navigate to a folder in any manner that you normally would. You can also just type a location in the Open dialog box.

The team of developers then decided to develop Photoshop Editor so that it would give customers of Photo CD a feeling of visual superiority. The link between smoking and various complications of diabetes is already well-established and has been particularly obvious in patients with type 2 diabetes. In general, there are clear associations between cigarette smoking and macrovascular complications in patients with diabetes.
The prevalence of smoking is consistently higher in patients with diabetes than in nondiabetic individuals.2 Likewise, the rates of adverse outcomes are generally similar between patients with diabetes who smoke and those who do not. However, the rates of adverse outcomes in smokers with diabetes may be even higher than in nondiabetic smokers (see Figure 1). For example, smokers with diabetes have a rate of microvascular complications that is 70% to 150% higher than that of nonsmokers with diabetes.3
