Onigiri – Spiral Like Form
The Onigiri fractal is a special type of fractal called a “rotational gradient.”
See the illustration below of what this means.
The Onigiri fractal displays alternating two layers of red and white (or the same two layers of gray and white).
The red and white layers are rotated around the fractal center at a certain radius and height.
Each of the layers has its own radius and height, which can be altered with the “Rotation” tool.

After you have created the Onigiri fractal, you should save it to its own folder.
We will focus on just one of these layers of the Onigiri fractal.
For now let’s just focus on the red one.

Rotation
Now it’s time to rotate this layer around the fractal center, which should be at the top-left corner of the red layer.
After you have found the radius and height of the red layer, click on this layer.

Using the P key you can determine the zoom level of the red layer.
This new zoom level is actually at its own altitude.
The altitude level you see at the top of this image, is actually at a radius of one unit around the fractal center, for instance.
