To install the plugin, users need to extract the contents of the archive it comes packed in and move them to the Plug-Ins folder of Adobe Photoshop, usually located in C:Program FilesAdobe PhotoshopPlug-Ins.

“How it works”
It is possible for users to modify image data and directly generate star fields, cosmic clouds or nebulas within a project by using various parameters in the option bar. All of these can be done in real time for an instant result.
“Create a new star field”
It is possible to generate new star fields by adjusting parameters and clicking the dice button. Users can also limit the stars on the image to be generated in a certain area and the number of stars that can be generated.
“Stars”
This component consists of two sub-components; Nebulae and Stars. Nebulae is the predecessor of Stars and is the first component that users see when they select the Stars component from the effect’s list. It consists of six categories that can be adjusted to fit the users’ preference: Color, Scale, Texture, Fibrousness, Depth and Opacity.
Nebulae
When users create stars or nebula, they are actually turning their dark image regions to transparent to help reveal the background.
Texture:
Depending on this category, users can select either pixelated or a smooth star field.
Fibrousness:
Users can choose whether to use either light or dark fibrousness.
Opacity:
Users can adjust the opacity of the generated image.
Scale:
It is possible for users to scale the generated stars and nebula from small to a large ones.
Depth:
Users can choose between keeping the depth or not to the generated image.
Also, users can define the number of stars that can be rendered on the image.
Stars
The second component, Stars, consists of various categories that can be adjusted by the users to fit their preferences, and two types of generated stars; Solid and Hollow. Solid stars are stars that render as solid images. Hollow stars are stars that are semi-transparent to reveal the background.

Another important feature of Glitterato is the ‘Refresh’ button in the top menu bar. If you do not use this feature, the result generated will stay on your screen forever, while if you use it, the result of your creation will be presented to you immediately, even though this process is resource intensive and will slow down the host application.
We have also embedded a ‘Save As…’ function in the Nebula section, which lets you change the default star field title name by right-clicking and selecting Save As. To do so, first enter the desired name into the text field, then click the ‘Save As’ button.
As for the backgrounds, we have introduced the Clouds and Nebula Mask section and the ‘Generate New Nebula/Stars’ button in the menu bar, which lets you create a new sky in just a few clicks. To create a new sky, do the following:
Click the button in the ‘Nebula’ section.
Specify the size of your new background by moving the sliders that appear in the right panel.
Note: you can cancel the process at any time by clicking the Cross button.
If you intend to generate a celestial body with a mask, then click the appropriate button, wait for a prompt and choose the mask from the drop-down menu, which will be displayed.
If you would like to create a nebula or cosmic cloud without a mask, then click the ‘Nebula/Cloud’ button and specify the size of the cosmic body by using the sliders or by typing in values in the text boxes.
After completing the process, you can save the image into a new folder using the ‘Save’ button in the menu bar.
The second section, Stars, is used to generate a number of star fields in a random pattern. To create a new star field, do the following:
Choose the number of star clusters you want to add to your field and place the stars on a random generated coordinates and adjust their location in x, y, z with the sliders, or type in appropriate values.
You can change the number of stars in the field and the color of the stars with the horizontal ‘Star’ and ‘Random Colors’ slide bars.
