This game will break the roof of your heart like the Christmas popsicle. The sloppiness throughout the game, the weird, the reality bending, the god damn cheese, and the pain. It all adds to the charm and is just the way that you like it. What are you waiting for? The game is great!
One thing that I will point out is that this isn’t a traditional RPG. It’s more of a “what-if” type game. You have 4 classes of character. Warrior, Magician, Thief and Beastmaster. Each class is kind of similar to the old Wizard of Oz. Your character is divided up into 4 classes and it has its own attributes and abilities.
The main thing about this game is how each class has a different feel. Each class has its own strengths and weaknesses. When playing as each character, you always feel like you have a chance. When you play with any class, you have a good feeling of how it will feel. The Beastmaster is the weakest class and the Wizard is the best.
Another thing is that you can form a party of up to 6 characters! Each member of the party has a different strength and weakness. It’s really hard to tell which class will do the most damage against a particular enemy. I was surprised at how fun it was to swap characters around.
The game has a lot of dialog, like something that you would expect from the Wizard of Oz. When you play on the story missions, you can listen to the other characters’ thoughts in the story. While playing, the characters will talk to each other and you will be able to hear the different class’s thoughts as well.
Another thing I really liked was that there were missions to perform. You don’t just rush through the game. You will be in a dialogue with the other characters for a bit, and then you will be taking on missions to gain more experience and unlock new story missions.
Aside from the story, there is also a lot of grinding you will need to do. Each character will have a different set of statistics in the form of attributes and skills. You will need to grind out experience and EP to increase the level of your stats.
You can join a guild to make it easier to gain EP, as well. Guilds are arranged by the type of people you want to join. Guilds range from beginner to expert levels. You can join multiple guilds as well. I liked the leveling up
