They are just some of the amazing recipes that make up my new favorite book of all time: The Coconut Cookbook by Diane Sanfilippo.
This must be the culmination of years of meticulous research on the subject of coconut. Before now, I would have never guessed that I had been under-educated in this wonderful foodie food.
Sanfilippo’s thesis is that while a coconut’s principal nutritional value lies in the oil, and is best consumed raw and unrefined, the coconut meat is wonderful in stir-fry, curries, desserts, breads, and all sorts of different dishes.
I must admit, there’s a lot of coconut in my diet now and at least I’m familiar with it.
The book is filled with mouth watering recipes using the fresh meat of the coconut, fresh and dried coconut, roasted coconut, and of course, coconut milk.
This is no ordinary cookbook. It’s the holy grail of coconut cooking. Like I said, I have been learning so much.
For those of you who don’t know, coconut milk is simply the liquid that is left after all of the coconut meat has been removed from the coconut meat. It is widely used in Thai cuisine where it is referred to as sticky rice milk.
Coconut milk plays a huge role in the dishes in The Coconut Cookbook. For instance, you can use it instead of milk in soups, curries, and sauces.
If you just stick to coconut oil, it’s still a fantastic oil to cook with because it’s an excellent source of lauric acid, a fatty acid that kills bacteria, parasites, and viruses.
While most people prefer its rich, creamy texture, I don’t find it nearly as sweet as a nut butter. So, I combine it with a variety of spices, nuts, and salt to create the most powerful antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral combination I’ve ever tasted.

The above is a summary of the story by the developers and the original poster. I think it has a quite interesting story, and also the characters seem quite convincing to me.
