OVERALL IMPRESSION:
This year of the New Year, they should deliver the brand new RPG to the fans. Considering the recently completed game just about the action RPG, let’s hope for a more action-oriented game instead.
That being said, I’m very happy to say that the new Tarnished World looks really wonderful with its intriguing concept.
The main menu has a slightly different look from other games, but the overall design concept does not look bad at all. By the way, there’s a brand new modification called Tarnished World and that leads us to a word of caution. As with all RPGs on the app store, we are requesting you to report the bugs since it is a beta version.
When you first start the game, you will see a short introduction. On the next screen, you will be greeted with the story. It’s a unique concept where the story of different characters will be told through visual novels. The visual novel is achieved through the different scenes which makes the game really nice to play.
Moving to the various characters, Tarnished World has a total of five different characters to choose from. Each character is pretty cool; the story told through this character differs from that of the other characters. As for the development of the characters, you can make your own choices for the attributes. It is a nice addition for a RPG game but the high customization needs a bit more improvement. The same goes for the skills which is pretty low in comparison.
Similar to other RPG games, your journey in Tarnished World does not really start from the very beginning. It starts in the lands which is nearby the Overlord’s Castle. You will be taking a shortcut to the Castle.
Gameplay
The design of the combat in Tarnished World is simple, but it allows you to play very comfortably. The entire game feature a three-dimensional view, which adds a nice touch to the game. The weapons you equip will affect the strength of your combat strength.
On the different battle modes, there are two different types of attacks: melee and magical attack. You can utilize various forms of weapons as well.
