About this very old question i had to answer today as it is one of the first links I opened up to find the answer to my own question.
I discovered a way to run this tool and send MIDI to the Advanced Motion and Music Synthesizer 3.0 program that I wrote about in my answer here
It was a bit time consuming to get the instructions to make the VBA editor with the program and send the MIDI to the device, but if you got it working you will be able to use it free and open source like I have done with my software. You’ll just need the serial number or license code from your copy of the program to run the
