Service Stalker 1.5.1 For Windows [Updated] 2022
=========================
This is an all-in-one service tracking application.
The program includes the following:
* Monitoring services through the ConfigurableServiceManager class
* Automatically monitors stopped services, and can send notifications to a specified e-mail account
* Automatically loads the services, and updates the list of services each time the application is run
* Option to check if a service is running
* Option to identify whether a service is stopped, stopped in process, or simply not running
* Email notifications support
* Can support up to 500 services
* Multiple language support
* Stays in memory without System Permissions
* License is FREE!
* Note that depending on your configuration, it may happen that a service ends up being stopped on two or more occasions, as the application may not be able to determine for certain what the results of a reboot were. If this happens, there is an option to allow the application to refresh its memory each time a service is stopped, instead of restarting the application.

Service Stalker 1.5.1
* Service Stalker will monitor all types of services, but it’s built specifically for those running in Linux. Please, make sure to read the FAQ before going on.
Installation Notes:
* Service Stalker will run fine in flat distributions, but its main advantage lies in its ability to monitor services in Linux distributions using ‘chroot’ing, such as RHEL, Fedora, Ubuntu and Debian.
* Service Stalker will monitor all network services, but it’s built specifically for those that run in Linux. Please, make sure to read the FAQ before going on.
* Service Stalker will run fine in Windows without any problem.
* In order for Service Stalker to work, you need to have a proper root account on the desktop system where you’ll be running it.
* Configuration:
* To start monitoring for a service, simply run the Installer for it. You may need to enter the password of the root account that’s managing your system.
* There are more options available, but their functionality is fully explained on the FAQ page.
* If you have some changes or modifications to make, just make them in the ‘ServiceStalker-original’ folder and you’re good to go.
* In the future, there will be more powerful and more easy to use software available for this kind of stuff.
Final Words:
* Use the Service Stalker Installer when possible, because it’s more powerful and offers many more features than simply using the command line (and running servicemonitor).
* Install Service Stalker in a flat system, such as Fedora, Ubuntu or Debian, since it’s designed to monitor services running in those systems. Please, read the FAQ before doing so.
* Other systems, such as Linux+X and Mandriva, might not offer as much functionality because they’re not designed to work in such rootless environments (it’s obvious).
* And if you’re using Windows, please, try both the installer and the command line version. The former offers much more features and has some great support by the WayBack team.
* Other services monitoring applications, such as NetworkStalker, won’t work in a ‘chroot’ed environment.
Compatibility
* Of course, Service Stalker will monitor any service that is compatible with Linux.
* But, it’s built specifically for those which run in Linux.

Do you add servers manually or automatically?
When I select a server and press OK, I am getting a dialog box with the port number that the services are listening on and I have to input it manually in the Text field and save it. I don’t know if this is the right way to do it.
Yes, this is the right way. To save the port number for the server, simply click on the Edit button, and it will prompt you for an Input Server Name or IP address and select OK. Enter the IP address or name of the server you want to add, select whether or not to connect to the server using Secure

Monitor all the processes running on a specific system or on all systems installed on your Mac, including services running on the system, processes owned by your username, system daemons, and many more.
Service Stalker Features:
Monitor selected processes for problems:
Launches a service selection dialog where you can choose what to monitor:
Now you can monitor several services on several systems for problems.
Choose the name of the service to be monitored, either by using the Go To combobox or by entering its name in the Search box.
Also, if a service can be restarted by killing its process before it stops, you can choose to monitor the process that runs it.
You can monitor a service that belongs to another user (for example, one that has been installed by the root user) by choosing its username in the Session selector.
Choose a time interval for the monitoring. Use the Time interval combobox to specify the time interval, or enter a time in the time input. The time interval can be specified in minutes or hours, or if you select seconds from the drop-down list, it will automatically be converted to minutes or hours.
The times (hours, minutes and seconds) you enter can be combined with the keystroke combination shift+tab to make it easier to read.
The alarm list is where you specify what kinds of problems you want to be notified about.
You can:
Choose whether to be notified if a service does not start (no matter if it stopped or is halted), a problem such as a crash, or a problem that causes the service to fail (such as a Sendmail refusal) to start.
Choose whether to be notified if the service automatically restarts each time the system starts or restarts and whether to be notified if the service does not automatically restart when the system starts or restarts.
Choose what to do when the service halts or crashes:
Disable your alarm list completely.
Display the service’s stopped list.
