the next step is to launch the hexrays icd loader and load the hdgame and hdloader directories. you do this by opening the hexrays icd loader (you can find it in your start menu under hexrays, if you installed hexrays, or in the start menu under programs>hexrays, if you installed hexrays from the website). load them by clicking on the tab that says “load hdgame”. you should now see a screen with a loading window which will eventually end.
the next step is to go to the newly created “plugins” folder and drag the hexrays.icd folder to it. when you do this, the hexrays icd loader will automatically load the contents of the hexrays icd. if you have any 3d games installed you can now safely close hexrays icd loader. if you are new to 3d games, you should first work on a small project to get an understanding of the basics of the game. before you try to install and run a full 3d game, you will have to work on its.hex file first. the.hex file is the file that the game is saved in. you can find these files in most games. you can use a hex editor to open these files, for example, gedit. you can find a tutorial on using gedit in the “basic tutorials” category in the official hexrays documentation. there are also a lot of tutorials on youtube, for example: hex rays guide.
