i was able to install the software without a problem. it went pretty well and everything worked out great. i’m sure that the settings are a lot like windows xp’s sound card settings. some changes were required. i found a better way to shut down the sound card. i also found that there was no sound test or speaker test utility.
i bought it because i dont have any other analog card and wanted to upgrade my dac quality, while i was at it i was going to upgrade to a better chipset on board.

one of the only minor cons is that it came with a flimsy packaged. it was a little top heavy on the one side and wont stand up by itself. so install it properly and you wont have this problem, otherwise i really didnt have any.
i think i did my homework well on this build. i’m very satisfied with my build. i would recommend this to anyone getting into audio or audio/video. this has a built in amp so it should last a long time with no changes to your power setup. it’s a killer deal at this price point.
installed the card, downloaded the latest drivers from creative. it will not load. upon restart it begins to check for updates which will not work. rechecked bios and everything is all good. when i went to the creative site, they do not know what the problem is. i went to forums and nobody knows. no one has this problem. any suggestions?
i have the audio drive that has many different xp drivers. while it’s not a great experience, it does allow me to use many different drivers. i’m looking for the original soundblaster drivers that came on the install cd. can anyone help me out?
Hi there, you guys are my last hope with this soundcard. I bought this Audigy SE Original install CD from my brother in law and to my frustration, (this was months ago) i have tried everything on the page and still get the same problem. All i get is this tech problem, and the problem i have is the sound is coming out loud from the sound card, but the problems is that i cant see anything coming out of the speakers and my mic isnt working or anything but it seems like theres sound, im on the same page as everyone else. All i want is my music back and the mic to work, i have Googled the name of the software and tried everything but nothing worked. Ill try your suggestions soon
Could somebody please help me.I have an audigy card.Its STEREO.The digital out is ture and I have all the drivers for the x-fi’s installed.I get no audio from the audigy?This sounds to be a common problem..Did anybody fix this?I also have a usb connexion modem.If i send data to the usb connexion modem from a different program it will play out the audigy.I have no other program running on the pc.Could you please help.Please help?
I would like to say a huge thank you to the Support team, I have tried everything and have no luck, I had sound on my computer, then the file explorer closed and then all I have is a high pitched error tone on the left speaker on this Audigy 2 ZS SE I have no idea why this is happening, My first attempt at using Audigy Studio 4.1 XFI worked for hours and then all of a sudden it stopped working, I have no idea why, I have tried every on all of this page and many others, I have tried opening a software to see if it will let me update my drivers, nothing seems to have worked. Anyone else having this issue?
