the reason is simple, a well lit headlight puts you out of the game immediately. the rule at races is that your headlight must be a realistic hoonhead, and nothing more. to make sure this is the case, nascence will be using a very new low power led and it will be highly diffused and will need to be behind all the lenses. this will be very expensive to produce and will take at least one year before it can be made available in the racer scene.

we have also been working on the body of the ride 3, all the internal details and exterior parts have been finished. all the matte and the shine body parts are now ready for further 3d printing of your cars body for actual production in cnc milling machines. this is something that we are working on and hoping to release soon. just be patient!

this is our first official release. we have every piece ready for you to assemble your car. since this is our first official release, we expect that you will have some feedback and request. the first request is that all the pictures you see are clickable. this means that they will open in your default image viewer, which is image.com in most cases. to make sure that these pictures are clickable and will open the image viewer you need to put a link in them.

as for the other requests, we will work on this as soon as we can. the thing that we are most busy with right now is the community and the site development. if we have free time, we will add features like these to the forums. please note that the mod will not be compatible with previous versions.

the major problem that we have right now is that our server running the forums is the same server that hosts most of our mods. if that server gets an attack, the mods hosted on that server will also be locked and will remain inaccessible. this means that if you plan to host mods, make sure you have a new server. there are a lot of great free servers out there. if you want to host mods on your own server, we will be happy to host them for you.

this is the first time we’ve ever run a clan wars game. clan wars is a bit different to standard warfare since teambuilding and team trading is the basic game mechanic. in clan wars, there is a scenario button under the scenario selection menu that you can push to automatically and immediately begin a scenario. when you play, you will notice that the players’ default ships cannot be destroyed or captured. if you send a player ship to the hold, it will be automatically destroyed and sent to the holds when the battle is over.
on day 4 of ride 2, we added a few extra options to the special ops screen and a move to the ride of fame screen. after 6 months, we added a new patron command. now, you can make an ally out of anyone from your fleet by tapping that person’s ship in your hangar.
this is a very important feature, and is a major reason why we added the patron command. we’ve added the ability to interact with ships in your fleet on ride 2, but it’s been very cumbersome. with the new version, you simply tap on your fleet ship, and you’ll see options for any ship you own. the original letters have been in place for a long time, but we’ve always been able to access it via the new myship menu (on the left of the main screen). with the new patron command, you can now do this with any ship.
our new download command replaces our download command. this is a big change in that we now upload the game files and code to devbox on an hourly basis. this means that we can update the game files and code at any time without having to wait for an upload. we currently upload between 600 and 700 megabytes a day.
