Novatek Easywriter V4 5 Rapidshare
i have the same problem. i also tried to download the easywriter application, but it says that it has been removed from the manufacturer’s website. if you would like to try and help me, i’d appreciate it.
i just received my novatek easywriter with a programmer from an amazon seller, and i’m having the same problem. i see my programmer, and i can select it and program it, but the easywriter doesn’t show up in the list of “supported” isp’s. i can only program it from within windows 7 ultimate, or windows 8.1. i’m running windows 7 ultimate, and the easywriter is running windows 7 ultimate as well. the programmer is running windows xp, and the easywriter is running windows xp.
to be honest, i think most of the problems that i have had is that i want to have these lcd panels work as drivers so that i can program them and use them with the other lcd drivers that i have. to achieve this i am using the dual channel ft232h breakout board to allow me to program the lcd panel and use it as a remote device. i have used the ft232h based breakout boards and the nt68667 based breakout boards to program other lcd devices. when i have tried using the novatek easywriter to program this same lcd panel with the breakout board, it hasnt worked. im just wondering if the fact that its not a standard lcd panel is causing problems?
ive had trouble trying to figure out where i might be going wrong. i found that the nt68667 board has to be programmed as a serial device. and that the lcd panel that i had had the problem wasnt standard, as it had no serial port and used the d-sub port. now, i have the lcd panel that i had the problem with, and a nt68667 board. i connected the lcd panel to the nt68667 and programmed it to use the serial port. it works perfectly. i then connected the nt68667 to my easywriter, and the lcd panel has the same problem again. ive connected the lcd panel to a ft232h board, and can use it to program the lcd panel. but when i connect the nt68667 to the ft232h, the lcd panel doesnt work. ive also connected the lcd panel to another ft232h board, but it doesnt work either. ive also tried to use the lcd panel as a remote, and it doesnt work either.
