If you had the Floppy Emu (the free one that comes with the Floppy Emu download), then all you would have to do is follow the instructions above to get everything up and running. The Floppy Emu also allows you to connect a floppy drive to the Apple IIe and run disk images. So you could use the Floppy Emu on the Apple IIe to “hot plug” a floppy disc containing an image of the disk you want to emulate. This would save the time you would need to create the image from scratch. The downside is that you have to understand boot sectors, the Apple IIs booting system, and CABs on disks, which is kind of a pain.
ps: sector size is 512 bytes and the three disks (the disk2c) have 512 sectors. The iks 2 disk has more sectors than the disk2c (but the total is the same). The iks file has a sector size of 2048 bytes, and is considerably larger than 512.
The iks file which is much larger (2048 vs 512) contains the graphics for one of the games. The game has a lot of graphics and the entire file has 1568 sectors. Other games in the series appear to have more graphics than Panzer General, but the total number of sectors is the same. If you were going to make a disk2c image of the game, you would want to make a copy of the iks file, and use sector allocation which will allow you to easily align the sectors for the image.

Here is a list of how they compare to the common sizes of disk images (CDs, Floppy disks, etc) according to how big the file is, the file type, and the sector size. Hard disks and the Apple II Emulator in Disk Copy, etc use sectors and a sector size of 512 bytes. Floppy disks use sectors and a sector size of 2048 bytes, CD-ROMs use sectors and a sector size of 2048 bytes, etc.
