I am writing a small program with a QWidget containing a QGraphicsScene on top and some QGraphicsItems on the bottom. I am also adding a QTextDocument, which crashes the program on exit.
I am creating the document as follows:

This seems to be correct to me. The only way I can get my program to close is by double clicking the desktop icon, but that just brings up the application dialog.
This is the error I get when I try to close the program from the terminal window:
