Ruler showing wrong value

I’ve been trying to configure a ruler in my application using a custom control. The problem is that it’s showing wrong values. I’ve been looking into the code, and if I change the ruler to a positionable ruler in the form designer, it shows the correct values. I’ve been getting back and forth with a co-worker, and this seems like a solution using a custom control, but I’ve not been able to get it working. I can get the position when I resize the form to a specific point, and a value can be set using the following code:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this? I’ve been looking all day and have spent 2 hours searching for help, so I’m hoping someone can help me out!

Got it working! The issue with the custom control was I wasn’t using the mouse move event. I was using the mouse down event, which returns a new position every time the mouse was moved. Instead of using this event, I added a timer. The mouse move event now works as

This article explains how to install Kubuntu 10.10 on top of Windows XP.

You can download the Live DVD, Live USB, or the Kubuntu 11.04 DVD, and use the Ubuntu Universal USB Installer to run it. The Universal USB Installer is a free tool, which can also be used to install Ubuntu on USB external hard drives.

The procedure below is aimed at the Live DVD and USB options. Read on to find out how to boot Kubuntu from USB on another PC.

1. Download

To begin with, you need to download the Live DVD, Live USB, or the Kubuntu 11.04 DVD image, and extract the ISO file. For Live DVD, this can be done by using an ISO Reader application, or by using the “Burn Image to Disk” option on the ISO file.

For Live USB, first extract the.img file inside the ISO file. Then, you can use the “Use Disk Creator” or “USB Startup Disk Creator” option on the.img file.

For Kubuntu 11.04, you can download the DVD ISO and unzip it using the “Extract to Directory” option, or extract the.iso file using the “Burn Image to Disc” option.
