I recently forked one of my own projects to include a couple of community-provided libraries, in order to make the project more scalable and user-friendly. (And GitHub is a necessity for my work).I would like to keep the forked project up to date with the community version, but I can’t figure out if this will make me a bad person in the eyes of the community. My problem is that this project has a nice README, useful and clear examples, a small CI system, and so on… everything that makes it easy to publish a project, to answer questions, to share it with users, and so on. On the other hand, GitHub is not very helpful if you want to maintain your own fork. Since I just copied the source and the README, I don’t want to have two sets of changes. And I’m also not sure that the project maintainers would be OK with someone just duplicating the project and setting up a CI.Is it a good idea?

There is also a 64 bit version of Autocad but I don’t think it works on a Mac.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Some other version of Autocad (see below) work with Ubuntu.
I have no idea if the Linux version works with Mac.
So if you are reading this, before you buy Autocad, make sure you are using Ubuntu
or something compatible.

If you don’t have Linux installed on your computer,
you can still install the free autocad on the Mac.
It’s even possible on a Windows machine.

That said: if you have Windows on your computer you will not be able to use
the free version of autocad.
So you need to get a license for that first.
