Paul Ekman Training CD (Mett Set

in a word, “einstein” an only child. grown to become a highly respected man of science whose contributions and achievements are so vast that he is considered the father of modern psychology. ekman’s research has produced evidence of a number of conclusions, but most of all he has shown that while we are wired emotionally we can change.

ekman’s theory is that we “think” and the likelihood of our thoughts being successful is dependent on how much or little emotional awareness is present. “ekman’s theory of emotions” (the concept of emotional awareness) is that “emotional intelligence is the ability to access and express one’s emotions, to understand emotions, and to distinguish between different emotions and to employ this understanding to one’s benefit.” if we are clear on our emotions, we can use them positively or negatively.

johnny has worked in the medical field for a number of years and has worked as a paramedic for over 4 years. he is also a certified instructor for the paramedic academy. in addition, johnny has years of experience working with the u.s. army, office of inspector general, department of health and human services as a management analyst. johnny has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has completed a masters in clinical psychology from florida state university.

this program combines theory with practical applications to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to apply the material in the 40 hour course. it offers an opportunity to develop the interview skills taught in the analytic interviewing course on a live subject. students would be provided the opportunity to develop their skills through working with a subject in a social setting. it is a time to allow students to practice their interviewing techniques and to observe their strengths and weaknesses. students would work with the subject and be asked to find the truth through their communication skills, observations and questions. students would be allowed to interact with the subject and take his or her word to be true. if something doesn’t sound right, they would be encouraged to question the subject, point out inconsistencies and ask the subject about the issue that doesn’t sound right.
