do you know the witch patch? im from brazil and everytime i install the patch the game is not working, im trying for 4 hours do anything and the base game is never opened…

hi, thank you very much for this patch! it really solved a problem i had with the game since day one.
although the fixme.exe was deleted and couldn’t reinstall like you recommend in your last comment. i tried to use the repair sims 2/3 base game every 10 minutes and after 30+ minutes, it showed up that something had gone wrong. later i realized that while installing the patch, i didn’t have any option to select the storage drive where the patched files were stored. so i did it myself and got the maximum error message to the error listed.
i clicked on the ‘repair sims 2/3 base game’ and then after awhile it tried to download the patch again and i got the same error. then i realized that i had to be able to see the storage drive (even it doesn’t need anything else!). so i went into my start menu and opened settings, then opened control panel, then opened computer, there was a ‘my computer’ button on the right side of the screen, i clicked on that then clicked on ‘this pc’ then clicked on the ‘change drive assignments’ button in the left side of the screen.
then i clicked on the ‘local disk c:’ or ‘local disk e:’ button in the right side of the screen and then on ‘now what?’ with two selection choices. then it worked, but now after that everything seems to be fine but now when i try to run the patched version of the game, i get again the same error message and can’t start it up.

alright! im done with this. i have had to change my name to get a new unique account for this one. i have been trying to get this sims 3 game to work for over 2 weeks now. i have a crack that will fix it right now if you just want to download it. if you want to try this one out yourself, read this whole post, it will tell you what i did to get it working. what i did was find all of the files in the sims 3 base game folder. the sims 2’s main folder was at c:\program files (x86)\electronic arts\the sims 3\basegame\sims 2. you will need to find where the.ini file is and then copy it and paste it into the sims 2 folder. if you do not do this, the game will not open. then you will need to find a new.ini file in the folder where the base game is at and copy that into the same sims 2 folder. you will need to get the.ini files from the original sim’s 3 base game folder. you can do this by going to the folder where you installed the game and right clicking on the sims 2 folder and then selecting “show contents”. then you will need to look inside the “game” folder and find the files you need. you will need to copy them to the sims 2 folder and overwrite the originals so they are not there anymore. after that, you will need to go into your sims 2 folder and right click on it and select “properties” to make sure you have that folder set to “read only”. then you will need to go to your crack folder and right click on it and select “properties” to make sure you have that folder set to “read only”. then you will need to use “cmd” on windows and then type “open” and then “cd” to the folder where you have the files you copied to sims 2. then you will need to type “git” (git is the command to get the files that you want) then you will need to type “pull” and then “enter” and then it will start downloading all of the files you have there. after that, you will need to open your base game folder (where you installed the game) and right click on it and select “edit” then “find” and then “replace”. then you will need to look for the.ini file you copied to the sims 2 folder and replace the original one you just replaced. then you will need to go back to your crack folder and type “git” then “commit” then “enter” then “push” then “enter” and then it should automatically close the terminal and you will be in the game. good luck.
