scripts needs the standalone build of the modules stronghold.crusader.2.v1.0.19066.steamworks.fix.rvtfix.linux.x86_64, stronghold.macosx.x86_64, and stronghold.windows.x86_64. these modules are included in the standalone build of stronghold.multiplayer.crack.
fix – the game works. no keys required. this patch will cause a blue screen if you load the game with the editor running. don’t forget to turn the patch off when you’re done, or else it will remain in your case file until you delete it.
fix – this should be the last game to work. once you run this, the game should be unshackled from all the annoying blue screens in steam (the game will boot but when it should show the game screen, it will just say “loading” and never do). this will still require the nolack or nolack2 key to remove the nolack/nolack2 event, and it will leave a file in the consoles that will prevent auto-launch of the game via steam. you can fix these yourself and run the game without a key.
fix – fixes a bug which will prevent you from launching steam for multiplayer games with some launchers like winsplit, winmerge, and glowingcracks fix. as a side note, this will not work with cracksfix, the default multiplayer cracker (which requires no keys). i’ve heard reports that hxo’s fullcrack works with multiplayer crackers like cracksfix, but i can’t confirm it and i have no experience with it. and it has been reported that hxo’s multiplayer cracker does not allow game updates after version 1.0.5130-2.
