Efficient way to find out whether a new record has been added to a table in Oracle

I am developing a MSSQL to Oracle migration utility. I was wondering how to find out whether a new record has been added to a table in Oracle.
Let me explain better, let us say that I have a DTO, which has a list of strings. This DTO represents a table in Oracle, and it has another list of strings. I am using DTO to populate the new table in Oracle. The new table in Oracle has a primary key as the first column, so I want to avoid updating every string in Oracle.
What is the best approach, to find out whether a new record has been added to that table?

If you can work on the server you would be able to check if the table has changed by using some information on the data types of the columns or some of the columns.
If you have to work on the client side, you will have to parse the data and find out how the table has changed.

It sounds like you might be able to identify the table and the column(s) containing the value that has changed in your new table.

My First Martini

While visiting the South of France, I caught an episode of “The Bachelor” (oh, so many “The Bachelors”!) that featured a girl named “Marisa.” I didn’t think she looked anything like Martina. Not even close. I just assumed that it was a ploy to take some heat off of “The Bachelors” themselves.

After watching the show, I decided to go out and get a Martina. Since she was named in honor of a city I’m visiting, I figured it was a good way to say “I’m an American who’s been everywhere.”

You can’t drink this at Walt’s Bar, so I ordered this margarita at The Continental.

First impression? The U.S. flag on the side of the glass was a good way to denote this was a martini. It also looked like water in the glass to me, but I decided to finish it.

Second impression? The gin looked absolutely horrible. I hate seeing that.

Third impression? I don’t remember what the gin was like, but I was quite pleased with the taste of the “rosette”.

Stiff, but not unpleasant. What does the pink “rosette” represent? Is it supposed to represent the vein of the glass?

I’m starting to think that “rosette” is some sort of pre-maraschino cherry cordial. I haven’t seen any yet, but maybe I’ll find some in Spain.
