Left 4 Dead 2 Iron Sights Mod

warning: this mod is not compatible with original left 4 dead (l4d1) iron sights. if you need to use them, you will need to use them for now.
you can get l4d1 iron sights from mods such as left 4 dead 1 iron sights

please note that i don’t take any credit for the gun. i found the l4d2 police pump shotgun on gamebanana. also, i’ve altered the description to more accurately describe what it does. description this mod alters the l4d2 gun to be fitted with an iron sight. the iron sights are similar to those found on the bizonal mod shotgun. installation

download the iron sights mod.zip file.
unzip the file and put the contents of the ironsightsmod folder into your left 4 dead 2\steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\game\res\weapons\policepumpshotgun\
install the mod through steam.

install notes the iron sights mod modifies the police pump shotgun. this will overwrite the default l4d2 police pump shotgun, creating a new, iron sighted police pump shotgun. known issues there is no current mod to alter the iron sights on the cz-75 or m249 machine gun. wish list i would like to see the iron sights mod applied to other weapons.

installation instructions: as always, make sure you have the steam client installed (you may need to download it) click on the left 4 dead 2 folder on your steam library and select “properties” click the “local files” tab, and then click “add” choose your file (l4d2_ironsights.zip) click “open” and the l4d2_ironsights folder should now be there click “apply” click “ok”
