The story starts in the city of „ZQ“ where 6 years have passed since the events of the first game. At that time the population was crushed under the pressure of the Central Government, the tax system was chaotic and corruption was rife. Believing that they can „fix things“ within a month, the elite government ministers decided to send in a special military group, supported by the best engineers and physicists. The operation was a total success and they managed to „cleanse“ the city and create an „entirely new“ one, a perfect model for all future cities.
But in reality, all of the new inhabitants were just pawns used by higher power. There are still a lot of people left in the city who survived the apocalyptic events.

A new mission begins, a mission to restore life back to the city and bring it back to the life where everything was „correct“ and „orderly“. You are assigned as a temporary officer of the „Cleanup Department“, a special secret service, which can only operate in the underground.

The game is about your missions and your special power.
You can complete many missions, some are very easy, others are very hard, so you will have to choose your way of completing your mission. Some have to be completed within certain time limits, some others need to be completed under a certain severity. Each mission has different rewards and depending on the type of the mission, even on the success of it, some special items can be unlocked.

There are many locations around the city to be explored. You can visit them using the Z-Train or the new underground systems. These locations will be added to the game as part of the

Once again, an Empire is ripping the Kingdoms to shreds, claiming lands and resources as they do so. Our hero, Zephy, must now take on this Empire, armed with only his wits. As before, the enemies you encounter have disappeared into the brush, and the only way to find them is to break out your trusty map, and then to orient yourself in relation to the landscape. In doing so, you will notice something new: the people who dominate the landscape are clearly not natural folk! Since the disappearance of the Dragons, they have slowly imposed their own, vastly superior culture.
-Updated Maneuvers!
Gameplay has been updated to reflect the Clan system introduced in 15. Now, a party can perform 4 Maneuvers per turn, up from 3!
-Maneuvers now update automatically!
-Added Mana effects!
In addition to the new Maneuver System, other gameplay updates include the following:
-New Customization!
Players can now customize their characters to gain new feats. And yes, there is still the classic Wisdom growth, but you can also unlock new feats as you gain levels!
-Expanded mage system!
Players can now create and combine arcane spell effects to form powerful new spells.
-Additional party member slots!
Players now have an additional party member slot, allowing them to increase the party size beyond the standard 3, or add additional party members, such as the ominous Dragonslayer.
-New Contract Map
A new, larger map will be added to the game. The size of the map area is approximately 4 times the size of the previous map! The focus will be on the new map, but as always, updates to the older map will also be made.
-New Map & Skybox
Two new maps are included with the game. One a relaxing, serene map and the other a more heavy emphasis on tactical combat, with many of the most dangerous creatures lurking right next to some of the most mundane.

Well this is the first time since I started playing 3D games that I am as excited for the game as I was for Fallout. I was super excited last year to see some footage of this game, and that when put to an eye-appealing beauty like Starbound, was even more at an endearing extreme. Starbound is a rogue-lite procedurally-generated adventure game
