One of its features is the ability to change and simulate the motion of a tool on a virtual work plane. With the “Simulate tool motion” feature, the Drafting Manager is able to modify the position of a simulated tool based on its motion parameters. It can also simulate the tool having a “weight” and use this to simulate tools whose motion is affected by the force of gravity. A simulation can be performed in a few seconds and thus can allow the user to test many different tool motions before drawing the final tool path.
