The Town has long had a leader in the fight against fire. As we all know, fire is a dangerous thing to have in a town. Any free radicals left in the stove will spread like wildfire. Fire is our first line of protection and response to fires, so why is it that we have so many that run our country?

I have brought in guest speakers from around the world to educate the public. I will touch on protecting the environment, who are our first responders, what are the roles of volunteer, paid and paid on call firefighters and the benefits of having a paid firefighter. I will also touch on local events that are done in our Town and anything else that pops in my head.

On February 27th, I will be having a Town Board meeting where we will discuss what we want to do as a board for fire protection. I will also update you on the Fire Department and what is going on in our area as well as any other plans that we may want to undertake.
