Sanjna is an Indian anthology film, consisting of three back-to-back stories with actors who have a recurring role in all three stories. The films feature Ganesh Acharya, Manisha Koirala, Devaraj and Devika Bhise in the lead roles.

Premise
Sanjna is an anthology, consisting of three stories. The stories are based on the lives of Sanjna (Manisha Koirala), a lonely girl who was once very popular; Radha (Devaraj), a renowned actor who was once very cruel, and his grandson Pravin (Ganesh Acharya), who is in college at this time. All three stories revolve around the lives of these characters, and how they learn to change for the better.

Sanjna has a cast of Manisha Koirala, Devaraj and Ganesh Acharya, with Devika Bhise as the villain in all the three stories.

Cast
Koirala plays the central character Sanjna in the first story. She is a lonely girl, who was once very popular. Devaraj plays Radha, who is a famous actor and director, who is cruel at heart and at the same time, a good dad to his grandson Pravin (Ganesh Acharya). Bhise plays the role of her evil aunt, and aspires to marry Radha. Pravin is in college at the time, and is the only character that has a recurring role in all three stories.

Production
Director Govind Nayak is writing the script of the first story Sanjna. Nayak has written previously for Doordarshan, based on the Parineeta story. Sanjna is Nayak’s debut feature film. The script was written in a month, while Sanjna was in the final stages of production. Prior to the film’s release, Bhise gave the first look of her character.

Release
Sanjna was released on 28 June 2003. Sanjna received positive reviews from critics, with praise being given to Koirala’s performance. The success of the film also helped Bhise receive recognition and critical acclaim.
