when the real thing opens the way to his bedroom, cringer realizes that hes on earth after all. he then passes out, waking up and finding kittys mother fainting in adam and adora’s arms. he then starts chasing cats and looking for the bathroom.

in the city of light, skeletor and his minions are celebrating being under the sherris thumb once again. theres horde prime, his robot thundra, webstor (who got a really good role here), foxx (who looks a bit like pat fry), roboto, rattlor, his assistant mettroid, and the limbo god limbo .

that night, they attend a party at hath catra and her minions witch is thrown by one of skeletors lackeys, a mad razz-powered mutant supervillain. adora gets stuck in the closet with nyesha (one of hath and quayss sisters) and prince adam gets cut off when the powers go bonkers and start attacking everyone. moss man gets eaten by the limbo god.

an alligator suddenly comes into the clearing, flicking its tail at them, commanding one of the poachers to undress and join a chorus line with him. the poachers all strip down, and the alligator asks for prince adam. not interested, he tells adam to remove his clothes as well, and begins a bizarre bit of roleplay (that he will soon regret). he tells adam to crawl under a strange metal object that was blocking the path and to stop when he discovers a man wearing the helmet of he-man. adam scoffs, and proclaims his homeworld is eternia . the alligator eventually gets tired and leaves.

cringer feels bad about this and takes his friends back to the royal palace. he tries to explain what happened, but adora just calls him a liar and adora and prince adam argue about their missing luggage. adora is furious that they didnt bring a single sidekick, as she herself is so much of a loveable underdog. prince adam thinks that adora can be a very efficient administrator, but that shes just the type who doesnt take criticism well.

its not all bad news, though. i love the cantankerous, grouchy king randor, and cringer is a great character. when i think of he-man, i think of the whole cast. everyone has their own character. so i think this episode is a great example of how that applies. each character is given a moment to shine. cringer, as always, is a little screen-shy, but he more than makes up for it with his magnificent voice.
this episode certainly improves the cast of he-man. when i say “cast,” i mean the characters you actually see on screen. its a small thing, but its nice to see he-man, teela and orko in a scene without king randor. everyone was pretty much in the background, except cringer. this is a great reveal of cringer. he-man. his main character. as a child, he had the courage to stand up to skeletor. and as an adult, he still has that same courage. he’s an inspiration for all of us. the episode clearly states this, in tiny, poignant little moments of dialogue. cringer knows this, and as such he lets it show.
a few days after the big party, evilseed is back in action and has the monster of the week on the rack. the monster of the week is, of course, cringer, who has inexplicably grown a livid zit (as are all things on eternia) and is bound and gagged on a steel table. evilseed proceeds to peel cringer back like a banana, and reveals a loose set of man parts. its the first time i have seen a cartoon body part pegged to a cartoon body.
