ABOUT GIANOBLANCO:
Gianoblanco is an independent game development studio based in Milan, Italy, established by partners Enrico Maggio and Carlo Cattani since 2012.
The name of the company comes from “Little Johnny Bravo”, American cartoon character, and the “Little Golden Books”, a series of children’s books by writer and illustrator John Brigham, which were published from 1952 to 1983. Together, the two characters give meaning to the studio name, which translates to “Little Golden Books Studio”.

This review was written from the perspective of a newly released player.
— Character Design and Balance
I found the characters in this game to be just as distinctive as those in other recent RPGs. The characters were freely designed through development, so I can’t say that they were given any particular themes. There was a small, gentle emphasis on the theme of competition, but I don’t think that it was very strong.
I’d say that the characters were designed to be appealing and to prevent any clashes from occurring. You can form a party of up to three members of the same type, and you can freely switch members. In other words, I’m not sure if it’s better to have a party that is comprised of four members of the same type or four members of different types. With a party that consists of four members of the same type, I feel that the members can easily lose their “sphere of influence” and clash with each other. Conversely, if you have a party of four members of different types, one of the members will likely be lower quality than the other three members. The character designs of the characters in this game are commendable. I find them distinctive and do not find them to be particularly weak in terms of the character quality. In addition, even with only the members in my party, I don’t find that any of the character designs clash.
The characters are all different. In other words, although it’s my party, there are no particular problems with the characters being put into the party. In addition, with a party that consists of members of different types, you can imagine how the characters of two different types in the party can clash with each other. However, because the characters are different, they are also better suited to the needs of party members of different types. The balance of the characters was appropriate. It’s a delicate matter to design the characters in such a way that characters cannot clash, and yet the characters are also suited to different situations. It is difficult to design a RPG in such a way that the characters are balanced, but, at the same time, you can feel the play experience getting stronger as you progress with the game. I am satisfied with the way this game handled the character design as well as the balance.
