Most industry analysts and oilfield geologists point out that “there are no Saudi Arabia’s here.” This is yet another reason why OPEC has been powerless to influence oil prices in the past.
Even a cursory glance at our country’s history reveals that we aren’t so famous for our love of capitalism. Our nation’s early colleges, merchants, and churches were actually a product of the Catholic church. All of our educational institutions were funded by and staffed by the Catholic church.
