There are several settings that could cause this. PoodLL posts the files to the server, but if the posted video/audio exceeds the maximum file size, the recording will be truncated. The max post size can be set in the course settings. This is limited by the site wide setting at: Site Administration -> Security -> Site Policies This is in turn limited by PHP settings. If the values to be selected from are too small, e.g 2M, then you may have to raise the limits for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize in php.ini. You will need to restart your web server after making these changes.

This happens when some device is detecting that the video is downloading via hyperlink, rather than through the Band-in-a-Box web site’s embedded player. This happens with video from the links page on the PoodLL site. You can try turning off the client that’s intercepting the links, or if using a streamer device, try blocking the links via its settings. The streamer device is set up to block links to sites like this. Many don’t know it is possible to block links at a browser level. You can also change the preference in your web browser.

If you do have an intermittent connection, you can manually stretch out the audio and the video data and make it appear to flow naturally together. The Dialog and MediaPlayer will do this automatically.
The hiccupy picture could have been caused by your internet connectivity problem or a stream connection problem. Most of the time this problem will repeat itself until you fix the internet connection problem. If you can’t fix this problem directly, if you have a live connection you can download the recording later using the desktop client. If you are out of town it is not possible to download the audio or video. You must download them from the Replay tab.

both of these applications are awesome. download the free version, uniblue, and follow the instructions. try to keep the software up to date. the free version of thumbelina is easy to install and it is like watching a movie without being able to turn the sound off. make sure you start your game with the sound turned off.
if you are not able to turn off the sound in the game, then you should consider not playing that game. now i don’t mean that, but you don’t want to be listening to the game and getting hurt. the sound on the game should be turned down just enough to hear voice chat, a keyboard, and actions. so if the game is supposed to be quiet and sound like a spy movie, turn down the volume and you will still be able to turn it back up when it is time to watch someone kick your ass.
the uniblue timer is like a stopwatch. it is located in the windows taskbar and will time your game. i find it very useful and i think you will too. it does not work very well with a game that does not have a built in game clock.
usually, it is video you are hearing first, even if you’re listening to audio. another factor is the lack of movement in video. a moving picture will be heard first (even if it’s your voice) while a moving object will be seen before your ears detect the sound. perhaps even more so in this case as there are two people talking.
the main point of the online conversation is that it should be clear and easily audible. unlike long distance phone calls, conversation on the internet is only as clear and audible as your connection and speed.
