The onCreate() life cycle event is getting called multiple times?
As I am calling onCreate() in Application class, it is getting called multiple times. Is it a flaw in android or is there a way to stop multiple onCreate() event?
I guess I can call a method in onCreate() life cycle event that will trigger a function which will stop further calling of same life cycle method.
I don’t want to use one-on-one relationships to call other objects in onCreate() event as it will make my code harder to maintain.

As you may well know, the Android lifecycle includes the following states:
PRE_CREATE: A Bundle is called. (Its name is {package_name}.{activity_name}.{Bundle}.{some value}).
CREATE: the onCreate() life cycle method is called. (Its name is {package_name}.{activity_name}.onCreate).
POST_CREATE: a finish() is called. (Its name is {package_name}.{activity_name}.finish).
All of the above can be controlled programmatically, as indicated above, by overriding the onCreate(), onDestroy() and onPause() life cycle methods.
You can easily prevent multiple instances of your app from being created by implementing a singleton pattern, as suggested by others, or checking in your main activity’s onCreate() whether the app has already been started via a different instance.
To prevent app creation:

public void onCreate()
{
if (s_instance!= null)

throw new IllegalStateException(“You can only create an app once.”);
