I’m working on a WordPress site for a client. He’s a non-technical guy, but he’s asked me to create a forum for him, in WordPress. I have no issues with this; I know some WordPress.
However, he’s a non-technical guy, and he’s using his own personal e-mail address for his WordPress account, and wants me to create a forum on a subdomain of his e-mail. I’m OK with this as well; I can set up that subdomain. My question is, I’m the sole developer and owner of the site, will his site have to have a specific e-mail address?
For example, my site is “mysite.com” and his site is “hisdomain.com”. My website is an e-mail user. My site uses the mysite.com e-mail address, and he wants a forum to be created for his domain on “hisdomain.com”.
Will my site users need to have their own e-mail addresses? Or will all e-mails sent to “hisdomain.com” be automatically forwarded to the main e-mail address “mysite.com” for all my site users?
