The collection of various trinkets is usually a hobby driven by passion, which implies the fact that every new item is manually added by the collector when it is acquired. Thus, the environment in which the elements are stored must allow one total control over everything from category and attributes, to comments and personal thoughts on the acquisition.
Store and manage collections
Multi Collector is a software solution designed to take the form of any kind of collection, by including a wide variety of templates and the possibility for new ones to be created from scratch. Hence, regardless of the items that inhabit the collection, they can be sorted, customized and filtered according to specific user preferences.
Furthermore, since the number of elements in the catalog tends to grow on a regular basis, they can have tags attached to them, which function the same way keywords do and they allow for much faster search operations within the application. As expected, the same tags can also be used to facilitate the power of filters, by using specific terms to associate certain types of objects with each other.
Generate reports and export data
To asses the integrity of a collection, or to obtain statistics regarding value, the total number of items or various other attributes, one can make use of the automatically generated reports. These can be created in a matter of seconds, by selecting the desired one from a list of predefined options, or by creating a personalized report from scratch.
Although few collections can ever be complete, they can still be showcased and shared with other people. Thus, the fact that it is possible to export them to an external file and shared across the Internet can in handy, especially since the available formats include PDF, CSV and HTML, which are widely supported on a variety of platforms.
A fully-featured collection organizer
Thanks to the fact that the utility is not limited to a single type of collection, Multi Collector can be used in a large number of different purposes. In addition, the lightweight and easy-to-use tabbed interface is very straightforward and intuitive for beginners, making it a good choice for inexperienced users as well.
