Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth was developed by Leaf for Windows PC.
Players assume the role of Yamato and explore the story and gameplay of the characters of the Utawarerumono series. From here on, it will be known as Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.
While the characters from the previous Utawarerumono games, including Yamato, will be present, there is a new cast of characters who make their appearance in this game.
The story of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth picks up approximately four years after the events of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception.

Utawarerumono is a tactical RPG featuring one of the most beloved stories of the visual novel genre.
・Explore the story of the Utawarerumono series
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth has 20 chapters, with an additional bonus (4 hours) to be released post-launch.
The story unfolds through the characters of the Utawarerumono series, including Yamato, and a new cast of characters. Players will also encounter new characters and return characters that were introduced in the previous games.
・Map Views and World Background
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth has a Field Map View and World Map View.
In Field Map View, the party moves around a map using a menu similar to Pokemon, and encounters various events, monsters, and items. In World Map View, players move around a given location using a menu similar to a JRPG. Players can also see a cutscene and be introduced to the stories and characters in the game.
・Playable Characters
Players will assume the role of Yamato, Tuskur, Mirai, Kasumi, Rei, Tizuna, Teppei, and Moa who made their debut in Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception.Players can take control of these characters to explore the story and gameplay of the Utawarerumono series.
・Co-Op Campaign
For the first time in a Utawarerumono game, there is a Co-Op Campaign.
Players can customize the difficulty level, and go at their own pace during gameplay. Even if you play on a difficult setting, you will only encounter a few enemies and will have the opportunity to enjoy the game as you please.
・Revival Moves
A new mechanic that allows players to revive fallen allies.

Super Time Force is the story of the time-traveling agents Chronos and Chrono, an ultra-cool duo with all the powers of a classic pop-culture superhero. Together they save the world with superpowers and outrageous capes – you can’t stop the latest madcap superhero adventure.

Thought the demo didn’t change up the first part much, the full game just seems to be constant weirdness. Great fun.

Would be cool if there was more
– a health bar (I think)
– you got the name of who was the last agent you were thrun so you could go back and stop them
– weather changes- it was raining, lightning was flashing
– levels with a combo with later levels with only 1 hit to destroy them
– new enemies that look amazing and don’t just do the same hit repeatedly over and over
– things like grenade launchers

Also, poor excuse for a cover system.

Quantic Dream on the whole did a surprisingly good job at creating a fun game to play, even when it doesn’t go anywhere, and this part of that legacy was present.

I’d be interested in the weather because in a game that is at its core a bullet hell game, the weather has no bearing on gameplay, just simple aesthetics.

Hi! I’m Jivony and this is my first time creating a commentary, so I hope I do it right!

I will start with my favorite part. Every time I play this game (and if I were to continue to play) I’ll always go through the same path. My experience and learnings through this game will probably be the most entertaining if you choose to read this comment as well!

Reimu’s performance while working on various items in her home may vary and I did not record them all, so please take this information with a grain of salt (that’s always what I do). The path I will follow is the path to the inn and back to the shrine. When I start it I’ll always create a paper key first and then go down the path to find an opening into a new room to find a new key. This continues on until I eventually reach the shrine and get another key and repeat it. Every room has a small number of items (usually 1 or 2) that, while empty, make it easier to use later on.

We’re going through each room in turn, however we’ll mostly stay on the path and work outwards.

All items are purchased through the item shop. This is found at the bottom of the screen. You can see when the shop is open and when you can’t.

The items that can be purchased are shown at the bottom of the screen. I’ll detail the contents of each room and the reasons you will find them.

Once again, I will not be going into too much detail, as that would take too much time and make this comment way too long. If you would like to know more about some of these items, please check out my previous comment or post. I suggest doing this as it may help you understand some of the items on your own!

Almost all of the game’s abilities can be activated with items purchased through the item shop. There are a few items which do not require the use of an item, but I’ll go over the ones which do.

As seen on the bottom right of the screen, items can be purchased from Reimu using the item shop.
