we’re excited to announce the release of unreal engine 4.18. this new release makes unreal engine even more powerful and provides significant improvements in features and performance. these improvements will bring a big boost to a lot of games that are already using it, and those will be the first to benefit. we also plan to include this new release in a patch for the all-new sleeping dogs 2.0 update.

we intend to include a ton of new content in update 2.1, but as mentioned above, our primary concern and focus will be addressing the issues you have raised and collected data about. these will largely be focused on the battle system and the improvements coming to the character stances and role system as well as balance tweaks to ensure that characters are more evenly distributed in some roles. were not completely confident in the impact these will have, but well be releasing them as fast as possible to address the most pressing issues!
sleeping dogs 2 was one of my favorite games of the year, and was voted game of the year by gamespot. im still very much looking forward to its release on the xbox one, but i think itll have a hard time gaining any traction in the console space.
