We are excited to announce the official release of Crush Your Enemies on February 8th 2014. However, the game was available for pre-order on our website on January 9th.
We will be shipping out the game worldwide on February 8th 2014. We plan on making new content for the game after release such as the ability to follow other players and their accounts. However, this will be based on user feedback and our desire to update.
The game is available for free to download on our website.

Crush Your Enemies is the second studio album by English indie rock band The Vaccines, released on 4 October 2014. It was produced by the band’s singer, Justin Young, and was preceded by the singles “Break Me Like I Break You” (on 29 September 2014) and “Bling King (Don’t You Want Me)” (on 14 October 2014). The band stated that unlike previous releases, they will be writing the album as a team. It received positive reviews upon release, with Rolling Stone characterising it as “12 enterprising, prog-tinged rockers that put a college-kid spin on the Hendrix-for-Angry-Young-Men thesis”, while the album was also included at number 26 of Favourite Albums of the Year 2014 by NPR.
The album features guest appearances from Gorgon City frontman Tom Brechtlein, Emblems’ guitarist Tracyanne Clyne and Pile’s bassist Tim Wheeler. Musical style of the album has been compared to Bon Iver and David Bowie. The album features some of the band’s most notable songs, including “Break Me Like I Break You” and “Star Treatment”, which was featured on the episode “13 Minutes” of the second season of the television series Suits.
Background
Throughout 2014, the band members began working on a new record and began writing ideas for what they wanted to produce. In an interview with The Quietus, the band said they were writing four to five songs per week. The band wrote multiple demos, with recording proving challenging, which led them to fill in the missing mid-tempo parts, and infuse them with more energy than originally intended. The result, according to Yannis Philippakis, a member of the band, was a “strong, almost-50s spine to a bunch of our songs”. The band narrowed down their selection of tracks to around fifteen songs and focussed on an album’s concept; they worked on the tracks with no expectations and for flexibility.
The band toured for three months as support for The Distillers and The Black Keys.
Following the release of ‘Your Demo’ single, the band launched a campaign to crowdfund a vinyl and CD release for the album on the fundraising website Indiegogo. The campaign ran for 10 days, and it raised US$76,606, beating their goal of US$56,000. “Break Me Like I Break You” was added as the album’s first single
