The Sacramento Bee reports he is released from the San Joaquin County jail on $20,000 bail and posted on electronically monitored home detention.
Dewayne Dedmon is charged with stabbing 20-year-old Kate McClure and killing her nearly three years ago at McClure’s apartment.
McClure’s mother and boyfriend described Dedmon as a friend and a warm person with a gentle personality. They told the Bee that Dedmon grew up in Sacramento and had lived with them for six months.

By 1935, the effects of the Great Depression were all too apparent in many nations. Food was in short supply. The unemployed were part of the ranks of the destitute. It was during this period that countries like Germany found themselves with available labor that was eager to be employed. There were ample numbers of unemployed workers that were highly motivated to work. There were a number of factors that led to a drastic increase in the demand for new labor.
