Valhalla Cats was made to bring your phone and your heart together! Our priority was to make a game that is fun and cute, but is also educational. We decided that the best way to reach this goal was by giving players the opportunity to learn about the everyday life of a cat in a simple and exciting way. The most important thing for us was that players would learn a lot about cats and their intelligence, and about how being a responsible cat owner should look like.
The audience for the game is not limited to adults only. The game is not really scary and does not promote violence. The main theme of the game is to teach players about the value of life. All of this is made possible by the fact that the player’s cat is a very positive, friendly and joyful being.
The game is structured in such a way so that the player can achieve a certain goal in the game. We believe that if we make a game that is based only on playing instead of playing and having fun, the game will lose all its value.
Our dream is to eventually have an interactive game that anyone can play, and where one of the themes will be being a responsible cat owner.
About The Game’s Development
Vakalvatn was previously a small game studio that made games for iPhone, and when Apple decided to launch the App Store in 2008, our game studio began growing. At the time when our game studio began to grow, we already had our own community and the game already had developed a small but loyal fan base. Our success was quickly noticed, and we decided that it was time to expand the game studio. We reorganized our studio, made an interactive website, and started to develop Valhalla Cats.
The first thing we did after launching Valhalla Cats was create a Kickstarter campaign. We reached our goal in just 10 hours! This was the first time that a game studio from Norway could successfully do a Kickstarter project!
We then launched a successful campaign for a second game, which was also made by Vakalvatn Studio. Our goal in this campaign was to raise money so that we could buy equipment, and develop more games in Valhalla Cats. We were lucky enough to get over $15,000 in just two weeks, and are now prepared to make a huge difference in the game industry!
All of our games were made by a team of over ten people and have been released by a team of about fifteen people. We have gotten a lot of feedback from our
