I’m developing an application using Visual Studio 2013 (c#/WPF). This application is stored on a flash drive and will be installed on many computers. I’m wondering, what is the best way to access the GUI from a background application.
My assumption is that there is no easy way to access the GUI from the memory of the computer. But I would like to be able to call any method on the gui to set or change some settings in the application. Basically, I need the ability to access the gui components from a background app.
From what I can gather, the only options are the following:
