The Tubecaster gives you an alternative to the standard distortion tube pedal. It takes a simple ‘push or pull’ signal and gives you a complex overdriven distortion pedal.

Different types of overdrive (manual or automatic) which can be selected and routed either to the left or right channels (selectable via a rotary switch).

Pre and post distortion control (yes, this means you can have your distortion on the pre- and post-cable…).

Two added-in audio effects (Hi/Lo and Band-Pass).

I created this plugin because there are many effects that I consider to be a part of a great sound. This is not a re-invention of any effects, nor is it trying to prove my ability to produce incredible plugins. This plugin is a small part of an existing library that contains many effects and can be used as a collection of effects or as a part of a bigger plugin.

The plugin is a non-linear UAD2 plugin that I converted from X-Factor into VST and Audio Units.

1 – Set all the input levels for all the outputs, the default inputs levels are 80%

2 – Selects the input level for the main input, set it to 80%

3 – Set the input and output volumes, set to 0.0dB
